Assistant Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a hard-working, responsible, friendly and committed individual who has an eye for fashion and excellent attention to detail to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and a quality work ethic, as well as experience leading a team and managing the daily operation of a business.

As an Assistant Manager candidate at junebug, you are:

  • Responsible, punctual, reliable and trustworthy.

  • Positive and friendly with both customers and co-workers.

  • Organized, easy to approach, and enthusiastic about growing a small business.

  • Skilled at multi-tasking and friendly under pressure.

  • Proactive and able to identify tasks to be completed without being asked.

  • Able to lift 40 pounds, stand on feet for up to 8hrs, bend, reach and stoop to perform daily tasks.

  • Able to comply with keeping our store Fragrance Free, Drug Free & a Non-smoking workplace.

  • Looking for longer term employment (over 6 months.)

HOURS and BENEFITS:

· 30+ hrs per week: Must be available between the hours of 10-5, including on Saturdays.

· Starting Wage: $18 per hour

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Actively participate in day-to-day operations of the store.

  • Direct daily workflow.

  • Perform opening and closing duties, as well as acting as a key holder for the store, ensuring safe operation and security.

Provide excellent customer service.

  • Make an effort to learn customer's names.

  • Ensure customer's needs are met in the store.

  • Operate point of sale and cash transactions in a friendly and accurate manner.

  • Respond to voicemails, texts, Instagram messages, etc.

  • Communicate with sellers regarding their items and payout, and ensure any subsequent questions or issues are resolved.

Oversee and maintain store inventory.

  • Tag, hang, and organize items.

  • Create new displays as needed.

  • Perform weekly quality control of items.

Assist with marketing and special events.

  • Maintain consistent social media postings.

  • Independently create and implement new social media campaigns/ideas.

  • Collaborate with other staff on special event planning and preparation.

Provide administrative support.

  • Monitor supplies and advise of low stock.

  • Make copies.

  • Enter new seller data.

  • File paperwork.

  • Process payments.
